Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Strategy professional for our Riyadh office to support cloud strategy, Cloud Target Operating Model (CTOM), governance, value realization, and digital transformation engagements across the Middle East.

This role will provide hands-on delivery support, pursuit support, and thought-leadership contribution across complex cloud and digital transformation engagements. The selected candidate will work with high-performing teams locally and across the region, supporting clients as they assess current-state cloud maturity, define target-state ambitions, mobilize cloud governance, and build operating models that enable sustainable cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Strategy & Advisory

• Support the design and delivery of cloud strategies, adoption roadmaps, and transformation cases.
• Conduct current-state assessments, maturity diagnostics, and gap analyses.
• Develop business cases, value propositions, and investment justifications for cloud initiatives.
• Translate cloud strategy into practical initiatives, workplans, and implementation roadmaps.
  
  

Cloud Target Operating Model (CTOM) & Governance

• Design and document Cloud Target Operating Models including organization, governance, service models, operating processes, and roles and responsibilities.
• Support the definition and mobilization of Cloud Centres of Excellence (CoE).
• Translate regulatory, risk, and policy requirements into practical governance frameworks.
• Support cloud governance, demand management, value tracking, FinOps, and control framework design.
  
  

Delivery, PMO & Stakeholder Support

• Support or lead delivery workstreams depending on level and engagement requirements.
• Assist with delivery governance, planning, RAID management, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Engage with client stakeholders across IT, digital, security, finance, procurement, governance, and business leadership.
• Prepare professional consulting documentation, executive materials, workshop packs, and decision papers.
  
  

Pursuits & Thought Leadership

• Support cloud-related RFPs and pursuits, particularly cloud strategy, CTOM, governance, value realization, and operating model sections.
• Contribute to EY cloud thought leadership, whitepapers, reusable assets, accelerators, and executive materials.
• Support capability building and knowledge transfer to junior team members and wider practice teams.
  
  

Key Profile Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience in cloud strategy, IT strategy, operating model, technology advisory, or digital transformation roles.
• Strong understanding of public cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and/or GCP at architecture, governance, and operating model level.
• Experience with Cloud Operating Models, Cloud CoE design, IT Target Operating Models, cloud governance, or cloud transformation programs.
• Strong structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and consulting documentation skills.
• Ability to support workshops, interviews, diagnostics, maturity assessments, roadmaps, and gap analysis activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
• Good written and spoken English; Arabic language capability is advantageous but not mandatory.
  
  

Ideally, You'll Also Have

• Experience with FinOps, cloud cost governance, or cloud value realization.
• Exposure to regulation, cybersecurity, risk, data sovereignty, or cloud compliance topics.
• Experience working with GCC public sector clients or regulated industries.
• Experience contributing to RFPs, proposals, client pursuits, whitepapers, or executive thought leadership.
• Consulting experience with a Big 4 consultancy firm, technology advisory firm, or leading system integrator.
