About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Fresh Graduate / Junior Civil Engineer to support our PMO and engineering teams on construction, fit-out, commercial, and infrastructure-related works. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with zero to two years of experience who want to build practical experience in site coordination, documentation, quantity review, reporting, and multidisciplinary project follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated Fresh Graduate / Junior Civil Engineer to support our PMO and engineering teams on construction, fit-out, commercial, and infrastructure-related works. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with zero to two years of experience who want to build practical experience in site coordination, documentation, quantity review, reporting, and multidisciplinary project follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in reviewing civil drawings, specifications, BOQs, scopes of work, and technical documents.
- Assist in site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, safety observations, and compliance with approved drawings.
- Record site observations, prepare inspection notes, and follow up on snag lists, NCRs, and corrective actions under supervision.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, meeting notes, quantity take-offs, cost estimate inputs, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal PMO stakeholders.
- Support tracking of construction activities against approved schedules, drawings, instructions, and project priorities.
- Assist in organizing RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, handover files, and project records.
- Help verify basic site measurements, quantities, and work completion status for reporting and follow-up purposes.
- Follow safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements while escalating technical issues to senior engineers.
- Develop practical understanding of construction methods, contracts, site coordination, and PMO reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Fresh graduate or early-career candidate with up to two years of experience, including internship or cooperative training.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, civil drawings, specifications, BOQs, and site coordination.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is required; Civil 3D, Revit, ETABS, or similar engineering software is a plus.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic ability to prepare reports, organize project records, and communicate technical observations clearly.
- Good communication skills in Arabic and English, with willingness to improve technical writing.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn from senior engineers.
- Willingness to work on project sites and travel between project locations as required.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility is preferred.
- Civil site coordination, quality follow-up, and construction documentation.
- BOQ, scope, quantity, and progress review practices.
- PMO reporting, contractor follow-up, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Practical exposure to design coordination, execution, handover, and project close-out.
