Bid Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and submission of bids, ensuring compliance with client specifications, tender requirements, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, finance, technical, legal) to gather all required input for bid preparation.
• Manage the submission process through platforms such as Etimad and SAP Ariba, ensuring all required documents are prepared and submitted accurately.
• Review bid documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements.
• Interface with engineering teams to shape IoT architecture solutions, Connectivity (5G, LPWAN, Satellite), AI & Data platforms, Command & Control Center integration, and Cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ensure solution feasibility and delivery readiness.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory standards.
• Address client queries related to bid requirements and ensured clear understanding of expectations.
• Conduct basic market research to identify relevant opportunities and gather competitor information.
• Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve the efficiency and quality of future bids.
• Assist in formatting, proofreading, and finalizing bid documents for professional presentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• PMP or APMP certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in bidding, preferably in companies within the same industry or related fields.
• Strong track record in managing bids on Etimad and other tendering platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba).
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word and Excel).
• Preferably skilled in formatting, layout design, and presentation of bid documents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills across teams.
