Barista

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, and tea in a professional and timely manner

- Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and adhering to our standards

- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation and serving stations

- Assist in the creation of a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers by engaging with them and ensuring their satisfaction

- Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain it in good working condition

- Make orders for items to make beverages

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines while handling food and beverages

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred

- Passion for coffee and knowledge of different coffee types and brewing techniques

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease

- Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining quality and cleanliness

- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (coffee bags, equipment, etc.) as needed

- Familiarity with cash register and basic math skills for handling transactions
