Back End Operator

Job Description:

• Operate and monitor various back-end machinery, including flangers, neckers, seamers, and packers.
• Perform routine checks and adjustments to equipment to maintain optimal operating conditions.
• Monitor production lines for defects, jams, or other anomalies, and take corrective action as needed.
• Conduct quality control inspections of finished cans, ensuring they meet specified standards.
• Load and unload materials and products onto and off production lines.
• Maintain accurate production records and log sheets.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on machinery.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize production flow and efficiency.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machinery operation.
• Ability to understand and follow technical instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 kg.
