About the Role
The Post-Sales Engineer provides technical support following the sale of professional AV solutions, helping customers and system integrators install, configure, commission, and maintain systems to specification. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement to resolve issues, deliver effective training and handover, and ensure reliable system operation and ongoing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical handover from the sales and pre-sales teams, reviewing approved system designs, project requirements, and agreed scopes to support successful implementation.
• Prepare commissioning records, technical reports, troubleshooting guidance, and handover documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all customer communications.
• Coordinate post-sales technical activities for customer AV, video conferencing, and infrastructure projects, working with system integrators and customers to resolve implementation issues within the agreed scope.
• Review Audio-Visual schematics and maintain as-built system documentation and configuration records to support commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and integration issues through remote and on-site support, coordinating with manufacturers on escalations, warranty claims, and repairs as required.
• Support the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of AV systems, verifying functionality and performance against approved specifications and supporting customer acceptance and handover.
• Deliver technical support and training post-installation, ensuring customers understand system functionality and achieve optimal performance.
• Collaborate across sales, engineering, service teams, and manufacturers to track support cases through resolution, share technical feedback, and improve post-sales service delivery and long-term customer relationships.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering/Diploma or relevant degree
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in AV systems installation, configuration, commissioning, and technical support
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Should have knowledge of CRM/ERP system
• A driving license is mandatory
