Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architect Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to Under general direction of a licensed Architect, performs moderately-difficult architectural or interior design assignments requiring a working knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques. Compiles data, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings and/or models. The incumbent at this level has increasing proficiency in the utilization of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and company procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Produces CAD/BIM drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards for specific architectural or interior design tasks from general design information in accordance with established standards, procedures, and client requirements.
• Utilizes technical manuals to ensure compliance with required codes and standards.
• Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings and design layouts.
• Produces drawings and specifications that have been red-lined by others.
• Researches and develops design and product solutions and presents them for consideration.
• Inspects architectural or interior design features on project sites and records conditions.
• Interfaces with other project team members to set goals and meet shared deadlines.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in large-scale projects including having overall responsibility for architectural engineering on large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of architectural design ( ID ), production techniques, codes and standards, building materials, and construction methods.
• Expertise must have been gained from working for reputed firms.
• Knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and knowledge of principles and practices of related engineering design methods and systems.
• Knowledge of the building industry, regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to architectural work.
• Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Knowledge of international procedures, design guides, automated and administrative practices.
• Knowledge of application and coordination of 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools on a project.
