We are looking for a motivated Front Office RAN & Core Performance Monitoring Engineer to support real-time monitoring, performance analysis, and service assurance activities across Radio Access Network (RAN) and Core Network environments.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring network performance and service availability by monitoring KPIs, analyzing alarms and performance degradations, performing first-level troubleshooting, and coordinating incident resolution. You will also contribute to automation initiatives and AI-driven operational improvements within a modern managed services environment.
What you will do:
- Monitor the health, performance, and availability of RAN and Core Network elements using operational monitoring platforms.
- Analyze network performance KPIs and identify service degradations, capacity issues, and abnormal trends.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting of alarms, performance degradations, and service-impacting events following operational procedures.
- Correlate alarms, performance indicators, and customer impact to ensure accurate incident assessment and prioritization.Escalate incidents to the appropriate Back Office or vendor teams with complete technical analysis and troubleshooting evidence.
- Monitor SLA, MTTR, alarm aging, and operational performance indicators to support service excellence.
- Coordinate with engineering, optimization, transmission, and field operations teams during incident resolution.Prepare operational reports, performance summaries, and trend analyses to support continuous service improvement.
- Support automation initiatives by utilizing dashboards, scripts, workflow tools, and AI-assisted operational processes.Identify recurring issues and recommend automation or process improvements to reduce manual operational effort.
- Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting procedures.Participate in 24/7 shift-based operations, ensuring continuous monitoring and service assurance.Participate in training and continuous learning related to RAN, Core Network technologies, automation, and AI-driven operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Telecom Front Office Operations, Performance Monitoring, Service Assurance, or Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Good understanding of RAN technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G) and Core Network fundamentals.
- Experience working with network monitoring, alarm management, or performance management tools.
- Understanding of telecom KPIs, service degradation analysis, and incident management processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize multiple incidents in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident Management principles is considered an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, scripting, or automation tools is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, or similar telecom vendor platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multicultural operational teams.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
- Self-driven mindset with a passion for telecom technologies, automation, and continuous improvement.
