Role Purpose and Summary:
Responsible for supporting SRH’s direct investment strategies by monitoring, evaluating, and analyzing the performance of portfolio companies (subsidiaries) to ensure alignment with SRH's strategic goals. This role supports in delivering strategic guidance, identifying operational efficiencies, and tracking commercial value creation. Additionally, the role coordinates efforts to track and pursue monetization opportunities such as IPOs, M&As, and other events that can enhance investment returns for SRH.
Experience:
• 0-3 years of experience in investments or related fields
• Background in investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial markets
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a relevant field
• Professional certifications in investment management or CFA are a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
Investment management support:
• Assist in reviewing, assessing, and monitoring the day-to-day performance, profitability, and operational efficiency of portfolio companies.
• Provide research, data analysis, and financial modeling to support the development of strategic recommendations for portfolio companies regarding market positioning, growth opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Help communicate SRH’s investment philosophy, operational best practices, and performance expectations directly to portfolio company management teams.
• Support the integration of new technologies, process optimization efforts, and change management strategies within subsidiaries to drive operational excellence.
Monetization and event management:
• Support the collaboration between SRH advisory directors and portfolio company leadership to identify and execute value-realization events, including IPOs, M&As, and complex divestment strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of strategic insights and recommendations on monetization events to maximize value creation for SRH, helping the senior manager drive initiatives forward
• Track and report on the progress of monetization initiatives, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders
Reporting and analysis:
• Compile and prepare investment performance reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights
• Conduct detailed analyses of portfolio companies and investment trends, identifying opportunities and risks to inform strategic decision-making
• Ensure that reports on investment performance are accurate and delivered on time to the senior manager of Investment Management and relevant stakeholders
Risk management:
• Support the identification and analysis of risks associated with the investment portfolio, ensuring adherence to SRH's risk management framework
• Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies to address potential threats to portfolio companies and monetization events
• Coordinate directly with subsidiary teams to facilitate regular risk assessments, stress tests, and compliance checks to evaluate portfolio resilience under changing market conditions.
