Account Manager
At OMQ, the Account Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the company's relationship with its clients and ensuring events are delivered in line with their expectations and OMQ's identity. This role acts as the key link between the client and internal teams (Operations, Design, Procurement) to ensure the delivery of well-integrated, high-quality projects. The Account Manager contributes to strengthening client satisfaction and building long-term relationships that support the company's growth and commercial objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of client accounts and follow up on their needs from project kickoff through final delivery.
Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams to ensure events are executed accurately and professionally.
Prepare and present commercial proposals and offers aligned with the client's needs and budget.
Monitor project timelines and ensure adherence to agreed deadlines.
Coordinate with the Business Development team to identify new opportunities with existing clients (upselling/cross-selling).
Manage account budgets and track costs against returns.
Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during event execution, in coordination with the relevant teams.
Prepare periodic reports on account performance and client satisfaction levels.
Build long-term relationships with clients to ensure continued collaboration with OMQ
Follow up on the client experience after event completion and gather feedback.
Contribute to developing customer service strategies that enhance OMQ's reputation in the market.
Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure consistency of messaging and offers presented to clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of experience in account management, preferably within the events or services sector.
Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects/accounts simultaneously under time pressure.
Good understanding of budget management and calculating ROI for projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
