POSITION SUMMARY:


The Bankruptcy Supervisor exists to lead the Bankruptcy team in regards to completing daily queues on existing customers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Ensures all policies and procedures are up to date, followed and protects company assets.

  • Monitors active Bankruptcy cases within Vanderbilt Mortgage to ensure policies and compliance are met.

  • Works directly with outside counsel and ensures that all compliance measures are met during the course of the Bankruptcy.

  • Exhibits excellent communication and organization skills to keep up with an extensive workload.

  • Ensures full compliance with Bankruptcy regulations.

  • Recognizes and evaluates process improvement opportunities.

  • Creates strategic plans to optimize ideas.

  • Creates and maintains detailed management reports.

  • Exhibits high level of judgment and discretion.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School diploma or equivalent. College preferred.

  • Must have 1 year of leadership/management experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and person to person.

  • Capability of gathering facts accurately, analyze causes, evaluate alternate solutions and arrive at sound conclusions on action to be taken.

  • Ability to manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities.

  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • 90% communication methods completed over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.

  • Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.

  • Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
