Job Description:

At Regions, the Trust Administrator Personal has the primary function of direct contact with external account holders. This position carries several relationships commiserate with experience and based on the complexity of the relationships along with management analysis.



Primary Responsibilities

Oversees the Special Needs Trusts and may carry a smaller account load

Assists as necessary with the review of potential new business and the closure of existing accounts

Works with both internal and external auditors as required

Works closely with Personal Trust Officers in the field offices as needed to provide service to the client

Instructs the designated person or unit on the disposition of check(s) from their assigned trust accounts

Answers questions or concerns regarding potential issues with an account

Works with other Administrators to include those in the Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILIT) group in order to provide service to the customer



This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.



This position is incentive eligible.



Requirements

High School Diploma

One (1) year related experience



Preferences

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience in Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning



Skills and Competencies



Excellent oral, written and organizational skills

Good analytical and problem solving skills, including attention to detail

Knowledge of trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accounts

Skilled in applicable computer software, e.g., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.

Strong presentation and sales skills



Position may be filled at a higher level depending on candidate's qualifications and relevant experience
