We are seeking a Stock Technician to join our maintenance and technical team. The Stock Technician is responsible for distribution of supplies to all PSKC clinics. This position will support all clinic locations on the Olympic Peninsula (Port Orchard, Bremerton, Poulsbo, Port Townsend). Ability to cover shifts at other PSKC clinic locations is required.



Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of insurability in accordance with the PSKC automobile insurance policy.


  • Some experience with materials and inventory management preferred.

Location/Hours: This position will support all PSKC clinics on the Olympic Peninsula. Ability to travel to Bremerton, Port Orchard, Poulsbo, and Port Townsend is required. This is a full-time (40-hours/week) non-exempt position. Work schedule is typically Monday-Friday during regular clinic hours. Ability to adjust hours or work weekends may be needed depending on clinic needs.

Pay rate is dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and related experience. Essential Duties

  • Mix solutions when requested.
  • Maintenance and delivery of inventory and restocking.
  • Maintain accurate records for all functions.
  • Use of chemicals per procedure to disinfect equipment and surfaces effectively and safely.
  • Participate in orientation and training of new employees.
  • Count inventory accurately.
  • Order supplies to maintain minimum stock levels.
  • Audit packing slips of all orders for accuracy.
  • Participate fully in continuous quality improvement of the PSKC service delivery process.
  • Transportation/retrieval of supplies and equipment from outside facilities.
  • Perform periodic janitorial tasks as needed.
  • Facilities Maintenance, including but not limited to:


    • Minor repairs on such items as fixtures, outlets, walls, etc.
    • Light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.
    • Assembling furniture, equipment, and other items.
    • Remove snow and ice in the winter from designated services as needed.
    • Assist in custodial work as needed, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, etc.
