Amazon Advertising is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for large brands, small businesses, partners (agencies and advertising software companies) and publishers. Our ad solutions—including sponsored ads, display, video, audio, and custom ads—leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage audiences throughout their daily journeys. Amazon Advertising's Ad Marketing team is looking for a stellar senior business analytics manager to join its ranks. We drive success of Amazon's advertising programs by helping the business owners think, measure, and evaluate their programs through analytical tools and services. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing measurement frameworks to identify marketing initiatives that help move the needle for our business. You are an effective communicator, and can crisply translate analysis result into executive-facing business terms.


This is a highly cross-functional role that requires close partnership across Channel Marketing, Marketing Operations, Marketing Science, Sales Operations, Finance and their corresponding tech teams. Your opportunity is to apply data analysis, statistics modeling, and strong program management skills to build solutions that have high visibility and direct how marketers invest resources, and how channel owners evaluate their effectiveness.



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

  • Experience in SQL

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel


Specific functions are as follows:



  • Understand advertising customers' life cycle profile and needs through deep dive investigations

  • Identify key drivers for ad product adoption and retention. Connect advertiser behavior with corresponding marketing levers.

  • Build measurement framework to establish causal relationship between marketing inputs and advertiser behaviors

  • Make recommendation on strategy, execution and messaging of marketing programs

  • Influence leadership decision making and identify potential opportunities

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in technology, advertising, or B2B industry.

  • Experience with agile project management.

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling.

  • Advanced SQL knowledge for data mining and processing.
