Job Description

Reporting to our VP of Sales and Operations, we are looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant to join our team and play a critical role in delivering Skipify solutions to our clients. You will understand and assess/scope customer requirements, prepare and present demos of our technologies, and address and overcome technical objections that arise throughout the sales process, by serving as a trusted solutions and technical advisor. Additionally, the person in this role will have the opportunity to build processes and procedures for the emerging solutions Consulting function. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process with our prospects and customers, and act as a technical leader for them

  • Demonstrate technical aspects of the product as a way to solve specific customer problems

  • Monitor and analyze functions operations and continually optimize for improved 
performance

  • Provide day-to-day product/technical support to sales team 

  • Provide feedback to senior leadership and product on feature requirements, value proposition and competitive data

  • Collaborate with internal product, sales, client strategy to provide the best customer experience

  • Work closely with product and engineering team to resolve complex issues efficiently

  • Manage and drive RFPs and other questionnaires

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

  • At least 3-4 years as a Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, or related field in the SaaS and/or enterprise software industry

  • Able to clearly and concisely articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users (Proactively connecting the dots for our prospects and clients)

  • Strong working knowledge of and experience with basic programming and process and project management

  • Proficiency in JS, HTML, and CSS

  • Familiarity with Looker, Salesforce.com, Jira, RFP software, Google suite, and Excel preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communicator with an ability to work in a team environment

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Self-directed with an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload

  • Previous E-Commerce or Marketing technology experience a plus, specifically email / omni-channel marketing

  • Thrive in a startup environment and able to take initiative with limited precedent and supervision
