Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing, a leader in precision machining, custom robotic automation, and tube end forming equipment, is looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team. The candidate for this position will be involved with the design, build, and prove out of industrial equipment including robotic automation cells and industrial machine tools designed and built by Wauseon Machine.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform service, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot industrial equipment internally and at customer locations.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the Service Coordinator
  • Completely document service work using the WMM established format
  • Provide information and assistance to aid in estimating new work.
  • Provide training to internal and external customers.
  • Provide phone support when not on active assignment.
  • Perform a wide range of shop related tasks when not on active assignment
  • Complete assigned project work on time per the project schedule, within the project budget, and meet customer and WMM requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of maintenance or hands on industrial troubleshooting experience
  • 1 year of PLC, HMI and robot programming experience
  • Willingness to travel locally and overnight 50-90%
  • Be available for holiday, weekend, and off hours work

Prior experience in the following areas is a Plus:

  • Related technical or vocational training
  • FANUC SECE certification
