Surgical Care Affiliates is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Operations Quality Analyst.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

This position will audit accounts worked by staff to provide assurance of compliance to the established standard of quality; report findings and provide feedback to staff and management. Will also perform data mining to provide operational analytics and respond to special projects as assigned.


  • Reviews all Quality indicators to monitor trends and determine where operational deficiencies exist. Submits recommendations as necessary to deploy corrective actions

  • Develops and produces Quality Assurance measures and reports any trends or unusual findings

  • Keeps leaders informed of quality monitoring results and any identified and/or recommended training needs and deficiencies

  • Monitors and assists in process and problem resolution, integrating efforts with training needs and quality monitoring

  • Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality assurance plan

  • Develop, implement communicate and maintain a quality assurance schedule

  • Develop and maintain quality reports

  • Maintain product knowledge expertise including new product rollouts, upgrades and enhancements

  • Act cooperatively and responsibly with patients, visitors, co-workers, management and clients

  • Maintain a professional attitude

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times


  • Some college preferred

  • Proven oral and written presentation skills.

  • Procedural documentation experience

  • Previous account review experience. Audit background a plus

  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle required

  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of the healthcare revenue cycle

  • Proven knowledge and experience in data mining, analytics and problem solving with the ability to recognize trends or anomalies

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products.
