As Purchasing Intern, you will support a high volume Request for Proposal (RFP) drive for indirect spend and field services and you’ll help establish a price change program for all hosted and punchout catalogs. This will entail:

• 
  Responding to vendor queries and helping with issues resolution


• 
  Gathering and analyzing data


• 
  Conducting stakeholder surveys

From this internship, you’ll gain valuable experience in:

• 
  Project and program management


• 
  Practical sourcing experience (running RFPs)


• 
  Stakeholder management


• 
  Supplier management


• 
  Bid evaluation – technical and commercial

Basic requirements:

• 
  Completion of 2 years towards your bachelors’ degree

Preferred qualifications:

• 
  Completion of 3 years towards your bachelors’ degree in business, supply chain, finance or accounting


• 
  Able to work both independently and as part of a team


• 
  Highly developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English with the ability to speak and communicate effectively and diplomatically across functions and levels, with internal and external customers/vendors


• 
  Ability to prioritize multiple requests and tasks from different parties and effectively set priorities and expectations in a fast-paced and changing environment


• 
  Keen attention to detail


• 
  Highly self-motivated


• 
  Ability to collaborate and bridge across functional boundaries
