The Program Relationship Manager is responsible for driving the development and continued program success of our largest accounts at Marlin. Reporting into the Chief Sales Officer, this individual will create and implement a business development strategy for assigned strategic accounts focused on account penetration and program profitability. Driving our technology tools and entangling our top relationships to ensure lasting success is one of the most vital components of our business strategy. This is a key role in organization and is one of the top sales positions here at Marlin.


Essential Functions:




  • Responsible for driving growth and retention with our top accounts and emerging opportunities.




  • Building strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and resellers to solidify and grow our key corporate relationships.




  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with C level players at each respected program, to game plan on business strategies to grow sales, improve efficiencies and leverage technology.




  • Champion our digital tools and suite of products to best position Marlin.




  • Provide critical market feedback on our products and services as well identify opportunities areas that match our strategic account profile.




  • Partner with Marlin's marketing department to develop and implement effective marketing plans for expanding business within assigned strategic programs.




  • Negotiate national vendor finance programs with large manufacturers, distributors, and resellers.




  • Work with the Inside Sales Director and Capital Markets on large opportunities to guaranty a seamless experience for the end-users, and dealers.




  • Remain well versed in industrial, economic, and financial environment affecting our partners.




  • Present new programs and program enhancements to our Operational Risk Committee (ORC). Preparing a write up and connecting with supporting departments ahead of time.




  • Work with all internal departments to champion program success including training and educating all employees who will be supporting the program.




  • Attend industry tradeshows and support our Partners at their company selling events



  • Develop, document, and execute the annual strategic program plan.


Requirements:




  • An Undergraduate degree preferred.




  • 5+ Years' sales C-level experience preferred.




  • 3+ Years' commercial financing experience required.




  • 3+ Years selling digital entanglement tools.




  • Commercial financial credit analysis experience preferred.




  • Customer service focus and a professional approach to servicing B2B relationships




  • Successful track record of meeting and exceeding volume and yield expectations.




  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills with ability to grow opportunities and build strong relationships.




  • Proven history of successful commercial-client relationship management required.



  • Self-driven, results oriented individual with clear focus on high quality service and profitability
