Job Summary:

The Product and Brand Coordinator plays an important role in our organization. The coordinator will work with Bakery and Sales Operations, Account Sales and Marketing focusing on all aspects of products for the Franz Family of Brands. This individual will manage the full lifecycle of products from product conception, development to launch. The role works with several departments and teams to develop and launch products to market.

This individual will manage packaging updates, artwork refreshes, and coordinate redesigns for all products, as well as coordinate product deletions. Coordinator will manage seasonal and limited-edition product rotations for the company as well. Position will be responsible for management of all brands from a product standpoint and supports the marketing team with collaboration and feedback on other marketing assets as related to product.

Job Duties:


  • Manages new item development for all products under the Franz Family of Brands, drives innovation and product/category research.
  • Creates long and short-term plans for brand and product launches, including timelines and targets for milestones.

  • Works closely with Purchasing Team on item transitions and proofing.

  • Collaborates with design on packaging refreshes and redesigns for all brands.

  • Communicates product launches, changes and/or deletions across multiple teams within the organization.

  • Coordinates all new items set up with central processing Team.

  • Supports Sales Team by providing sales assets with new product information.

  • Creates, manages, and launches new brands as opportunities arise.

  • Plans and executes seasonal product rotations and limited-edition items.

  • Monitors success of new items and item changes, including tracking weekly volume and coordinating changes in projections with the purchasing team.
  • Supports marketing of new products, including researching industry trends, analyzing sales data, and examining competitive products.
  • Completes administrative tasks as necessary, such as invoice coding, filing, note taking, etc.

  • Travel to meetings and events.

Minimum Requirements



Job Requirements and Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of food brand/product marketing experience and project management preferred.

  • Detail oriented, organized, excellent communication skills both orally and written.

  • Must have high attention to detail ability and to analyze and interpret data.

  • Knowledge of baking process preferred.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Project management and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have advanced Excel skills and have proficient knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must be able to perform analysis like forecasting and regression.

  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Independent judgment is often required.
