The Materials and Process Analysis organization is seeking a highly-motivated individual with skill sets aligned with identifying failure modes in Sikorsky products. This position, within the Failure Analysis Group, will be responsible for analyzing and determining conformance of failed components (made from metallic and composite materials) to the engineering requirements (i.e. materials and processing), as well as identifying the material failure mode(s).

Additional requirements for this position include appropriate documentation of findings in written technical reports, ability to work well with supporting technical staff, interfacing with a broad range of customers and suppliers as required to determine applicable background information and present findings, and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: BS or MS in Materials Engineering or Materials Science.

  • 2 years of professional experience.
