Independently leads and manages complex projects and departmental budget efforts on behalf of the Administration & Sourcing. Manages Distribution Center, Mail Room, and Procurement functions. Provides leadership for cross-functional initiatives, including assessments and analyses. Assigns and directs work, providing guidance and oversight. Plans, orchestrates, and monitors complex key projects with considerable judgment and initiative. This position has four direct reports

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans, leads and manages special projects on behalf of the Managing Director, Administration & Sourcing.

  • Manages day-to-day deliverables, provides project updates, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project completion on time and on budget.

  • Leads the Administration & Sourcing budget process, working with department Directors, Managers and other National Office staff to prepare and manage budgets, provide forecast updates, and achieve budget targets.

  • Serves as the primary department liaison with accounting to ensure compliance with accounting principles.

  • Acts as a primary liaison between the Administration & Sourcing and the Administration & Sourcing leadership team, ensuring alignment.

  • Assigns and directs work, providing leadership and oversight for cross-functional initiatives.

  • Conducts customized research and analysis, develops well-researched recommendations and feedback from the team.

  • Works to mitigate potential problems before they escalate consistently maintains an impeccable degree of confidentiality.

  • Develops high-level executive summaries/analyses, financial analysis and corporate communications in direct support of the Administration & Sourcing.

  • Performs various assessments and analyses relative to opportunities and business needs.

  • Oversee Distribution Center, Mail Room and Procurement, financial operations, customer service, billing and reporting to user departments.

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with clubs, suppliers, National Office stakeholders and all levels of management.

  • Provide oversight and direction to the associates in the department in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, provide career development planning and opportunities.

  • Demonstrated use of project management and facilitation skills, including the ability to lead a cross-functional team.

  • Ability to analyze financial reports, execute multiple projects simultaneously, in depth experience utilizing standard PC applications to include Microsoft Applications.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least Five (5) years’ of procurement experience.

  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
