Domain knowledge of asset aggregation, bill pay or credit underwriting is a plus.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems

  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages

  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

  • Passionate about building an innovative culture

  • Demonstrated experience in Java programming in an IBM WebSphere or Apache Tomcat environment

  • Strong understanding of J2EE server side technologies: XML, JMS, JAX-WS, CXF and experience with Spring Framework

  • Experience with Springboot, Microservices and Scalability

  • Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry best practices

  • Experience building REST and SOAP web services using Java

  • Experience with open source frameworks

  • Experience with MQ and Kafka preferred

  • Experience with SQL/Stored Procedures on Oracle or Db2 or SqlServer required

  • Experience with NO SQL such as Cassandra or Hadoop is a plus

  • Experience with high volume, mission critical applications
