Job Description

The Team

Our Security Services Team is responsible for building next-generation threat prevention and antivirus solutions and shipping high-quality content to our products to prevent successful cyberattacks. The areas include malware analysis, IoT security, Web security, network security, privacy protection.

Your Career

We are looking for a motivated, intelligent, hardworking and creative intern to join the WildFire team as a Security Research Engineer. As a member of the WildFire Security Research Team, you will work with researchers on implementing different projects, especially Machine Learning or Deep Learning related ones, that detect and defend against various emerging threats. You will be a key person in transforming ideas into products which are part of the next generation security platform.

Your Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning or Deep Learning algorithms, techniques and pipeline building

  • Good Python programming skills

To apply, you must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree, a 2-year Master’s Degree or a Doctorate degree and returning to school in the fall. You must have the authorization to work within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Big Data Analysis tools and platforms, such as ElasticSearch and Kibana

  • Experience with malware analysis (PE, Office, ELF, APK, PDF or other common binaries/documents)

  • Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure cloud environment
