The Warehouse Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center.

The Warehouse Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising warehouse activities on a daily basis to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center.


Your Responsibilities



  • Responsible for implementation, supporting and meeting KN and/or customer KPIs within sphere of responsibility.

  • Awareness of and adherence to QSHE programs.

  • Ensure QSHE compliance of team/station(s) is maintained.

  • Ensure the necessary handling procedures (both physical & written) are followed accordingly when applicable, documented in client-level Quality Agreements, Service Level Agreements, and SOPs.

  • Understand and adhere to local State and Federal regulations inclusive but not limited to, OSHA, DOT, EPA and other government agencies. IATA DG Certification is required to handle any hazardous material(s).

  • Keep up to date with KN global and country specific KN standards and requirements.

  • Implement/maintain safety, security, quality, housekeeping and sanitation programs, as applicable.

  • Work closely with other departments to deliver high level of service to customers.

  • Perform support and leadership functions for the Inbound, Outbound, or Inventory Control Departments. May be required to assist other areas within the operation, when needed.

  • Will be required to carry out day-to-day functions and job assignments for the Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, or any other special request. May be responsible for problem resolution or report progress updates. Must be able to escalate any concerns or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager.

  • Train new warehouse associates within area of responsibility. Will provide associates with the resources needed to ensure targets, KPI's, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer.

  • Communicate with staff on a regular basis to make them aware of priorities, targets and operational issues or changes.

  • Ensure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency

  • Will be responsible for following and enforcing employee compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, policies, work rules or guidelines, and safety and health regulations.

  • Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse.

  • Act as a resource on operations matters, providing guidance, assistance and support to management, supervisors and warehouse associates by e-mail or in person.

  • Spend at least 100% of time on the production floor.

  • Will perform other job tasks, as assigned.

  • Ability to meet attendance requirements and work hours necessary to achieve customer metrics.

  • The ability to interact effectively and professionally with coworkers.

  • Participate in KN Care

Your Skills and Experiences



  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Fluent in English:

  • Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision

  • Strong work ethic and team player.

  • High degree of professionalism. Ability to communicate with various levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.

  • Prior experience in warehouse environment preferred. Prior experience using RF gun and Manhattan & SAP preferred.

  • Ability to understand thoroughly all aspects of the job; secure in job knowledge; demonstrate good leadership skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of expertise and knowledge to the assigned area of responsibility; display confidence in abilities

  • Ability to use the computer; general knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge or warehouse systems. Ability to multi-task; Good planning skills, carry-out job tasks and deadlines; ability to respond quickly to requests

  • Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and able to hold others accountable to quality assurance; excellent attention to detail skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers; ability to motivate, develop, and lead others

  • Strong interpersonal skills; build positive relationships with others to maintain a harmonious work environment

  • Exceptional attendance; Able to provide back-up support
