We are looking for top product talent to lead our Global Product Management team as we continually expand functionality and improve the user experience of HP’s online store to meet aggressive growth plans.

As a Global Product Lead at HP.com, you will own development and implementation of product strategy and its execution. By effectively managing product innovations, you will be a key driver in helping HP.com continue to innovate and enhance ecommerce store to achieve its business objectives. Winning requires continuous innovation and a constant attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

You will collaborate with senior leadership team across the world to understand business strategies/ plans and opportunities and accordingly develop and maintain product strategies. Based on product strategies, you will develop and manage product portfolio; identify product opportunities; develop global roadmap; get stakeholder’s alignment for long term as well as annual roadmap, its funding and ROI (Return on Investment). You will also collaborate with product organizations within HP to align ecommerce product strategies and roadmaps with theirs. You will provide a leadership to a team of talented product managers, located in various geographies. You will collaborate with technology, design, analytics, and various business teams. You will manage product development processes for effective planning and execution of product roadmap on diverse commerce platforms. You will also lead the analysis to assess the performance of platform evolution and direct product team to take actions to further improve it.


  • Work with the HP.com leadership team and other key stakeholders to develop/ evolve global product strategies and get cross-functional alignment for execution plans in each market

  • Invent the future by driving strategic product decisions in alignment with ecommerce org’s goals, strategies and roadmaps

  • Lead product management team, scale it to meet the business needs, set R&R (Roles and Responsibilities) and goals, coach team members, evaluate and help elevate performances

  • Lead customer feedback analysis, usability studies/ research and market analysis

  • Keep leadership team appraised of most recent trends and best practices

  • Recommend innovative product ideas to improve store’s sales and profitability

  • Define and iterate on product related processes to continuously improve quality, speed and scale.

  • Develop product roadmaps, get cross-functional alignment for its execution

  • Monitor and evaluate metrics to measure the efficiency of business plan.


The ideal candidate is someone who constantly raises the bar individually and for the team, thrives under pressure, can dive deep into data and derive actionable insights, and can work with diverse stakeholders and a geographically diverse team. This candidate will use analytical reasoning to assess customer and product metrics, evaluate the competitive environment, and utilize their charisma and business acumen to drive business results.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Communications, Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

  • Expertise and knowledge in the online space (web, email, search, database marketing, chat marketing, podcasting, blogging, privacy, e-business, etc), including trends and technologies.

  • 7-10 years of experience in product management for web sites, eCommerce experience is a plus

  • 3-5 years of people management experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid web analytical skills (measurement, ROI, forecasting).

  • Organization and program management skills.

  • Ability to link product strategy, roadmap and activities to business results.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ecommerce tools and technologies.

  • Solid knowledge of Internet principles and web site production.

  • Well versed with product development lifecycle and software development lifecycle

  • Great communication/ presentation skills

  • Experienced in waterfall and agile operating environments

  • Experienced in business process re-engineering is a plus

  • Hands on experience with collaboration products like JIRA, Confluence, Asana is a plus

  • Exposure to 3rd party software implementation, migration and customization is a plus

  • Experience in performing product management tasks in Magento environment is a plus
