Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all marketing content produced complies with our brand guideline standards.

  • Creates print and web marketing collateral for advertising including PR materials, billboards, in-store signage, and other materials to support overall company marketing initiatives.

  • Works closely with 3rd party suppliers for ordering promotional materials and custom printed materials.

  • Works closely with individuals at all recycling facilities for event updates, milestones, informational content and yard photos/videos.

  • Works with the commercial team to attract and retain customers by developing marketing materials that will further brand each division.

  • Plans and executes marketing for events that will bring awareness to our locations and build relationships with the communities in which we operate.

  • Assists all groups across the David J. Joseph (DJJ) family of companies with marketing related projects.

  • Assists with maintaining all our company websites.

  • Works with commercial team to create and update the website to drive customer traffic.

  • Works with commercial team to implement loyalty programs.

  • Creates content across all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Beekeeper, Facebook and Instagram) for all DJJ affiliate companies.

  • Reviews analytics and implements changes to social media platforms to maximize target audience reach.

  • Collects video and photo content for various projects.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college in graphic design, marketing, or other related degree required.

  • Proficient with using Adobe Creative Products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro)

  • Experience with WordPress and Divi.

  • Experience designing print and web marketing materials.

  • Proficient working on a Mac.

  • 1+ year of social media marketing experience.

  • Some photography and video experience desired.

  • Experience including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, Beekeeper, LinkedIn and Handshake.

  • Working knowledge of social media and analytics software (i.e. Hootsuite, Google Analytics and Facebook Insights).

  • Strong understanding of CRM, content marketing, and reputation management.

  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
