Summary of Responsibilities
Provide consistent and timely response to restaurant general managers' maintenance and repair needs. Assist in construction of new stores, remodels, and equipment replacement. Keep current with refrigeration and air conditioning industry trends and communicate recommendations to management. Strict compliance with company safety standards.
Essential Functions
Perform preventive maintenance on all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in Hawaii's Taco Bell and Pizza Hut restaurants and corporate offices.
Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance work on restaurant kitchen equipment and facilities.
Assist in installation, removal and transport of restaurant equipment and furniture.
Purchase parts and equipment from approved outside vendors.
Keep accurate records of all work performed on restaurant equipment.
Keep company vehicle clean, orderly, and secure at all times and keep inventory of all parts and equipment stored there.
Perform minor electrical and plumbing work where a licensed tradesman is not required.
Available to work nights when necessary to avoid interruptions to restaurant operations. Willing to travel off-island as needed.

Requirements
Required Experience
One year of working on restaurant equipment and refrigeration systems. Electrical experience preferred.
Able to work with minimum supervision. Strong decision-making skills.
Educational Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
