The Gastroenterology East division of The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our busy Endoscopy Center located in the Gateway area of NE Portland (near the Max line). This position will work four 10 hour shifts per week. Responsibilities include admission and recovery of patients, monitoring patients, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care in the department. We are looking for an energetic team player who can multitask and provide high quality patient care in a busy outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have prior acute care/recovery experience. No weekend, evening or holiday call is required with the position. Starting pay range, based on experience: $40.28 - 47.39 per hour.

Requirements:



  • Current Oregon State Registered Nurse license

  • Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS required

  • At least 2 years prior RN experience required

  • Prior experience in an acute care/recovery setting preferred

  • Prior experience with EMR-Logician and Centricity a plus

  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and office staff, patients and their families

  • Excellent communication skills and professionalism

  • Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
