The#Early Intervention In-Home Program of The#NEW#Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders#is looking for a passionate and dedicated#Educational Technician III#to join our#growing team! The#Educational Technician III#provides individualized instruction and behavioral support in our year-round home/community based treatment program for 1-3 year olds with autism. Up to#$4,000 SIGN-ON BONUS and $2,000 a year Tuition Reimbursement *Current MaineHealth employees not eligible for the sign on bonus. Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 3 months to be eligible. Tuition Reimbursement is available to employees after 6 months of employment. The Center of Excellence#is a full-service integrated treatment, research, and training center to meet the needs of Maine families, generate new treatment models, and advance autism science for the benefit of all. New and expanded services include child and adult outpatient clinics, preschool, K-12 day treatment and early intervention in-home services. Together we can ensure that children and adults with autism and developmental disorders can achieve their greatest potential! The#Early Intervention In-Home Program#provides a full-year program for children under the age of 3 with ASD or suspected ASD. A multi-disciplinary team including BCBAs, SLPs, OTs, Special Educators and Educational Technicians effectively collaborate with caregivers to support each child in reaching his/her maximum potential using the principles of applied behavior analysis. The#Ed Tech III#will provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to achieve communication, play, socialization, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals of students in accordance with the Individual Treatment Plan, IEP and/or Positive Behavior Support Plan utilizing the tools of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education:#High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Post high school study in educationally related field preferred. License/Certifications:#Certification as an Educational Technician III from the Maine Department of Education (minimum of 90 credits in approved study). Certification as School-Based Behavioral Health Professional preferred (may be provided upon hire). Experience:#2+ years of experience working with children or youth with developmental disorders, mental health disorders, and/or behavior problems in school, hospital, or residential setting. Demonstrates knowledge of early childhood development.
