This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the recruiting agenda to ensure candidates from a diverse set of backgrounds are represented and have equal access to opportunities. You'll support our Head of Diversity Recruiting Strategy & Partnerships, but also have ownership for leading significant diversity-related programs that compel organizational change across all areas of recruiting. Together, we will continue to advance the company's dedication of creating a workplace known for its inclusive culture by bringing colleagues into the organization who better represent the communities where we live and work.


Primary responsibilities include: Plan, design, run and measure the success programs that will improve the diversity of our colleague population



  • Help facilitate national and local partnerships, sponsorship opportunities and events

  • Serve as the main point of contact for and take ownership of a subset of partnerships

  • Track and report critical metrics, calculate return on investment, and make suggestions for improving how we partner with diversity organizations

  • Collaborate with other HR groups (DE&I, Corporate Affairs, Supplier Diversity) to align and advance internal programs and external partnerships

  • Prepare and deliver reports - from recruitment systems and applications - with a focus on data integrity, accurate reporting and compliance

  • Be a trusted diversity talent advisor to recruiters, sourcers, HR Business Partners and Business Resource Group leadership teams

  • Support the Diversity Recruiting Council to mobilize recruiters to execute against diversity recruiting strategic priorities, position Citizens as a top destination for diverse talent, and engage leadership to drive adoption within their business lines

  • Develop innovative approaches to achieve diversity recruiting goals by cultivating a broad knowledge of the company and its key functions, gathering market research, applying methods shown to work in the industry, and having a detailed understanding of how DE&I drives business performance

  • Take a program management approach to diversity recruiting activities including scope, plan and manage programs through the entire life cycle, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality


Qualifications


Required Skills/Experience:



  • 5+ years in a Recruiting, Human Resources, DE&I, Social Impact (CSR, Community Affairs, etc.) or Human Capital Consulting role

  • Background in effectively communicating, collaborating and influencing across various leadership levels and businesses to reach favorable outcomes

  • Relationship management skills

  • Hands-on experience applying program management methodologies and seeing programs through from conception to completion

  • Ability to weave diversity and inclusion issues and initiatives through a broader agenda

  • Outstanding organizational, communication, storytelling and presentation skills

  • Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills


Preferred experience



  • Recruiting or sourcing

  • Leading and/or working with Business Resource Groups

  • Program/project management

  • Financial services industry

  • Using Tableau, reporting databases, etc.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, professional certifications and/or related experience in the US Armed Forces
