Your Career

The Cortex marketing team has an opportunity like in no other industry: high impact work and the chance to change the future of digital security, globally. You will be a key player in the transformation of the enterprise security market and work closely with key partners across the company to fuel awareness and demand for the Cortex product portfolio. Driven by your passion to shape the narrative for the ever evolving cyber security industry, you'll be responsible for Cortex storytelling so internal and external audiences understand the impact and effect Cortex products have on our customer’s business so that we can, in turn, tell their story to drive awareness, demand, and sales. 

Your Impact

  • Advocacy: Cultivate trusted relationships with customers to help drive customer participation in media and public speaking opportunities, industry analysts, user conferences, written case studies, and videos

  • References: Source customers to speak with prospects during sales campaigns by building trusted relationships with both customers and sales teams

  • Sales Effectiveness: Capture sales stories on “how the deal was done” through Sales Wins, Win/Loss Interviews to capture and collect meaningful details that others can learn from and replicate

  • Programs: Define and run customer facing programs, including Customer Advisory Boards, 1:Few Private Events, and more

  • Community: Expand online customer community and partner with marketing to drive offline events

  • Evangelism: Share customer outcomes in Executive Briefing Center and other venues as well as create a feedback loop to ensure unrealized customer benefits and competitive advantages go back into product messaging and positioning, sales enablement, and overall marketing content


Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, communications, or relevant equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years validated marketing experience and results in a technical B2B industry; cybersecurity or cloud software experience required

  • Exhibited analytical skill, editorial craftsmanship, and project management.

  • Experience with information/cyber security products; EDR, XDR, SIEM, Security Orchestration, Automation and Response, Digital Forensics/Incident Response services (DFIR), or Vulnerability Management

  • Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&ACK & NIST a plus

  • Multiple technical and business personas with written and oral communication

  • Creatively generated unique solutions or ideas to fix complex problems

  • Driven, ambitious, and always looking for ways to improve current marketing efforts

  • Able to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment

  • Successfully worked with a variety of team members across different functions of the organization
