Desktop Technician Associate

This is a full-time (40 hrs/wk), hourly position on University of Colorado Hospital’s Desktop Support team based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You must be available/willing to work all shifts including days/evenings/nights/weekends. Provides tier 1 operational support for desktop computing devices through repair, replacement, consultation and monitoring.



Job Duties



  • Responds to basic support requests in tracking system. Interviews customer to determine nature and scope of the customer's issue, and the appropriate response.
  • Diagnoses, resolves and closes basic desktop computing issues according to service level guidelines.
  • Promptly escalates issues to higher level technical support or management when necessary.
  • Documents and reports basic customer inquiries regarding new/different functionality.
  • Provides basic end-user desktop computing training.



Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year relevant experience



Preferred


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Desktop Support experience in a large-scale environment



The pay range for this position is: $20.15 - $30.22 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.


An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
