Job Description




We are looking for a Data Integration Services Specialist to join our Data Integration Services Department


In this role, you will:



  • Act as a customer facing liaison with districts, assisting with, and implementing their rostering integration with Renaissance.

  • Inform and guide customer through technical aspects of the process including providing rostering data, connecting to APIs, using SFTP sites, setting up SSO and having discussions around setting and managing Usernames/Passwords.

  • Coach customers through Renaissance best practices as it pertains to the customer’s data integration and their use of Renaissance products.

  • Proactively monitor and support integrations to ensure they are running as scheduled; troubleshoot and make updates as needed.




Qualifications




For this role, you must have:


·         Strong and professional technical customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively through written and oral communication.


·         Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such manuals, directions for working with different Student Information Systems, and departmental procedures.


·         Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently, prioritizing work effectively.


·         1 year or more experience in customer and technical areas of Renaissance Learning; or an Associate's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.


Bonus points for:


·         Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.


·         Ability and interest in problem-solving, along with strong attention to detail.


·         Technical knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and CSV / txt files.


 Not requirements, but nice to haves


·         Familiarity with Putty/WinSCP.


·         Experience with SIS Software Vendors and data providers like Clever.
