Wayman is a family owned and operated business that has been serving the local community for over 45 years. We design, fabricate and install fire sprinkler and fire alarm safety systems. We also inspect various safety systems such as fire suppression, wet and dry sprinkler systems, special hazards and offer fire alarm monitoring. Job Description

Wayman is looking for a hard working and dedicated employee to join our Inspections department to help us with data entry. This person will be updating files, transferring data, printing invoices, and handling many clerical tasks as needed. We are looking for an entry-mid level candidate who is able to jump right in! We need someone who is computer savvy, has data entry experience, is able to handle multiple tasks at once, who is able to focus on details, and someone quick on their feet. This role is expected to last over 6 months and is temp-hire. If hired, we have great benefits, 401k, PTO, and opportunities for growth within the company.


  • Review all data for errors and report and unusually findings to management

  • Collect and determine completed of all information before entering data into software programs

  • Scan and print required documents needed to collect information for data entry.

  • Ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Determine project changes.

  • Provide administrative support as needed.

  • Enter personal customer information into databases as collected upon forms or spreadsheet


  • HS Diploma Required, Associates Degree Preferred

  • Exceptional verbal, written and listening skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, proven data entry/excel experience, and computer savvy

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficient using computers for a variety of tasks

  • Maintain a high level of discretion and ethical conduct

  • Stays flexible and organized

  • Ability to prioritize requests effectively

  • Warm and outgoing personality!!
