Job Summary

The Customer & Commercial Data Specialist works within the Customer Master Data team. The Team is responsible for the creation, update and maintenance of all Sealed Air customers. The Customer & Commercial Data Specialist reports to the Global Commercial Master Data Director.


As a Customer & Commercial Data Specialist, you will focus on structural gathering, interpreting and using data created in online processes. You think customer first, instead of ‘data first’ and have a track record in delivering improvements to customer experiences. You are naturally curious and eager to learn new technologies and tools. Your knowledge and experience in tools help you deliver clear analytics and reporting.


As the data specialist for MySEE you will be tasked with the preparation and cleanup of master data for Sealed Air customers that will conduct business in a digital way through the MySEE portal. You will have regular contact with other member in the MySEE project team on priorities and progress. With that being the focus you will also be part of the Global Commercial Master Data team and will be working on regular data setup and maintenance in your region or in other regions of the world.



Responsibilities

  • Participate in the MySEE project by making sure all customer related data is cleaned up in time to ensure a timely and successful launch for each phase planned in the project.

  • Work with different stakeholders in the MySEE project to collect information and approvals.

  • Execute the maintenance of all commercial master data: Customers, Hierarchies, Sales personnel in SAP and MDG, both manually and through use of mass uploading tools.

  • Analyze consistency of Customer Master Data through running reports (Excel – Information Steward – SAP) to ensure trouble free processing of our digital business.

  • Help document the process and local variances of data in different countries and markets.

  • Be the 1st level consulting for problems and questions related to CMD, raised by internal partners.

  • Provide support in updating the general procedures for the team.

  • Perform any other data related tasks as required.



Qualifications

  • Good internal and external communication skills

  • Good understanding of Business Processes

  • PC literate with well-developed spreadsheet and word processing skills (SAP, Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Good, confident and assertive yet patient telephone/writing manner

  • Extremely accurate, paying attention to detail and willing to “discover” and “innovate”. Ensuring internal Customer Set Up procedures are fully respected.

  • Pro-active, disciplined and able to manage time pressure

  • Good organization and administrative skills
