The Continuous Improvement Manager will manage all activities related to process improvement initiatives plus development and implementation of Continuous Improvement strategies in a manufacturing setting. This position will be an advocate for positive change and outcomes for all processes and provide proactive solutions to optimize production uptime.



Continuous Improvement Manager Functions & Core Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and select processes or projects for inclusion in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives

  • Establish key performance indicators; evaluate current state, and propose future state goals and objectives, assist in implementation

  • Develop and monitor implementation of process changes meant to result in: cost or waste reduction, quality or productivity improvement, customer satisfaction, or ThruPut increases



  • Oversee process change implementation and track progress towards efficiency or quality goals

  • Oversee the work of a team that evaluates existing processes and identifies opportunities for quality or efficiency improvement

  • Coach lean tools and root cause problem solving at various levels of the organization

  • Share best practices with teams.



  • Perform other tasks as assigned including (but not limited to) OpEx, Quality, and R&D

  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace producing high quality products


Education/Experience & Requirements:



  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in: Business, Operational Management, Industrial Engineering or other Engineering disciplines



  • May require Lean, Six Sigma, Quality or other related certification

  • Must demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills; willingness to mentor others



  • Experience training and coaching others in problem solving methodologies

  • Must have strong project management and interpersonal soft skills

  • Must have proven ability of creating and executing professional presentations using facts and data
