PURPOSE:
Primary management and oversight responsibility for all key philanthropy programs including all major gifts, workplace campaigns, sustained giving, leadership donor groups, special events, planned giving and corporate/foundation support. As the key fundraising strategist for the organization, the Chief Corporate Relations Officer (CCRO) will work closely with the President & CEO, Board members, community volunteers, UWCNM staff and volunteers and corporate and major donors on strategic and tactical issues and will implement effective and comprehensive philanthropy programs in support of UWCNM and community needs. The CCRO will develop and lead a large volunteer and staff team in the achievement of fundraising goals.
Responsible for providing organizational leadership that supports the mission of UWCNM, promoting an efficient and effective organization with the highest standards of accountability, and facilitating its efforts to be the leader in philanthropic giving and community solutions. Provide organizational leadership by planning and organizing donor relations strategies and serving as the lead staff in the workplace campaign, major gifts, community development, including strategic issue area development, and related marketing efforts. Facilitate the implementation of a comprehensive and integrated plan for generating the maximum resources possible and effectively addressing community needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field. Graduate degree a plus. Certified fundraising professional a plus.
Experience: Eight to ten years' experience in non-profit senior management, including program management, staff supervision, strategic planning, budgeting, long-term relationship building, volunteer governance and fundraising. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to use computer software to track data and develop data reporting. Successful background in development and fundraising, including personally soliciting variety of donations.

Other Requirements: Must possess valid driver's license and have daily access to dependable, insured motor vehicle, due to extensive amount of local driving required.

Standard PC based office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standard office environment. Position is primarily an office setting, requiring long periods of sitting at a desk and computer. The position requires the ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted, 40 pounds with assistance.
