Employees are to stock beverage carts with cold drinks and snacks such as: canned beers, sodas, bottled water, and sports drinks; according to Manager/Supervisor Pre-Determined Par Levels. Employees are to successfully return beverage cart back to outlet, proceed to check-in all inventory goods, and ring up all sales accordingly.


We are proud to provide outstanding customer experience for our guests by selling food and beverage products on the course.


We serves members and guests in the bar and dining areas by effectively managing all aspects of bar operation.


Essential Responsibilities:


§ Acknowledges and greets each group of members/guests on the course, providing information on convenience cart services and product availability


§ Takes orders and up sells where appropriate


§ Delivers goods; calculates bills and collects payment


§ Maintains order on the course by following proper golf etiquette, observing and respecting the flow of the game and operating the cart in a safe manner


§ Manages inventory by verifying and restocking supplies as needed, notifying manager of shortages and requesting adequate stock for the following day, obtaining approval for opening and closing inventory on cart, removing perishable items at the end of the day and keeping the cart clean


§ Maintains appropriate standards to ensure food safety and sanitation.


§ Utilizes proper procedures in serving alcoholic beverages (verify legal drinking age and/or discontinuing service to intoxicated customers)


Additional Responsibilities:


§ Maintains a pleasant atmosphere by communicating professionally with members, guests and co-workers


§ Remains up to date on course events and upcoming activities that may affect convenience cart operation


§ Other duties may be assigned by management


Basic Skills and Qualifications:


§ Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages, applicable state card or certificate must be provided if required by state law


§ High school diploma preferred


§ Valid driver's license required


§ The ability to operate the convenience cart in a safe manner, negotiating around other carts and tight spaces is required


§ Basic math skills, for example the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate quickly


§ To perform this job successfully, an individual should be friendly and outgoing


§ Maintains bar efficiency and continuity of service by stocking napkins, silverware and condiments; preparing garnish trays for drinks. Replacing beer kegs and soda bags/canisters as necessary; keeping bar area clean and arranging bottles, glasses and merchandise drinks in an attractive display; checking inventory levels and restocking supplies on shelves, refrigerators and storage area, refill ice bins to ensure sufficient supply throughout the day; operate stereo and television in the bar area for customer entertainment; inform manager of supply shortages or special customer requests


§ Manages bar operations by recording every transaction in the register at the time of sale; following sanitation procedures (washing and sterilizing glassware, cleaning bar equipment, dispensers and tools thoroughly); ensuring that stock is appropriate to promotions and events taking place; minimizing waste by using inventory efficiently; verifying amount in cash drawer and balancing drawer against receipts; close bar by locking bar area and storing liquor in a secure cabinet


§ Protects the organization, members and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
