Job Description



Position Summary



Support the Director of Quality in the maintenance, management, and development of the Company’s quality management system.





Key Accountabilities



  • Document, maintain, and improve the existing quality processes to guarantee compliant operation of quality processes

  • Work closely with other departments to facilitate actions and maintain compliance to the current systems for change controls, DIFs, deviations, complaints, audit observation follow up

  • Carrying out investigation of GFR (Goof Faith Receiving) non-compliances and/or customer product quality complaints

  • Utilize quality tools and techniques to perform and document corrective actions, to resolve quality issues, and to drive continuous improvement

  • Assist with the development of corrective and preventive actions plans/ implementing these within a given time to eradicate the root cause of a non-conformance

  • Update, maintain, and improve quality management system process documents and documentation

  • Perform data analyses, prepare quality trend/metrics, and report findings as required

  • Assist the plants in the facilitation of KCMA tests and re-testing as required



Key Competencies



  • Experience with Masterbrand Business Systems

  • Distribution Assembly (DA) systems experience

  • Relevant experience in a cabinet or assembly industry

  • Experience in the utilization of quality system processes (such as, Audits, Deviations, PFMEA, Document Control, 5-Why, A-3’s)

  • Good experience of articulating and implementing standard work & quality documents

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely

  • Thoughtful, energetic attitude, willing to acquire understanding

  • Ability to research, analyze and report independently

  • Excellent administrative and people skills

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Flexibility to adjust course when required

  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize work

  • Flexible approach to working hours where needed



Education & Experience



  • An associate degree or relevant experience

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)





Organizational Relationship



Position reports to the Director of Quality and CI for the DA’s
