Associate Director, US BRIDION Marketing - Scientific Strategy

This Associate Director reports to the USML for BRIDION within the Hospital/Specialty Business Unit. The Scientific Strategy Lead will be responsible for developing the strategies and the relevant initiatives to drive scientific understanding and advocacy for BRIDION within the anesthesia reversal market . This critical role will lead commercial activities that interface with internal and external stakeholders, including Global Marketing, US Medical Affairs, the Center for Observational and Real-World Evidence (CORE), and key external societies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define brand priorities from a scientific education and advocacy perspective, ensuring alignment with marketing L3 strategy

  • Partner with key stakeholders on the development of medical education content

  • Collaborate across the marketing team to execute each brand's medical education strategy, including digital components through the digital engagement teams (DETs)

  • Develop the franchise's annual congress plan and develop necessary congress resources / activities (e.g. product theater content, exhibit materials & panels, etc.)

  • Work with CORE, and Market Access teams to support needs, including helping evolve our health care economic value platform

  • Represent BRIDION on select cross-divisional teams (e.g. VEST)

  • Consistently remain current on key insights for the brand, customer, and marketplace

  • Understand the competitive landscape and lead the development of a scientific strategy that differentiates versus competition

  • Provide marketing viewpoint and support to help maintain Speaker faculty

Required Experience and Skills

  • BA/BS

  • A minimum of 2 years Pharma/biotech experience OR a minimum of 3 years combined strategic marketing, brand management, sales or business support experience in any industry, is required

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and/or sales presentations

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Ability to translate science/clinical data into marketing strategies, medical education and/or conference initiatives

  • Understanding of health care ecosystem, market access environment, and drivers of value in health care

  • Experience with communication/marketing to health care providers

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment (with medical/legal review processes)

  • Experience in hospital segment, Surgery/Anesthesia area

  • Strong project management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing activities, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery

  • Experience influencing without direct authority, navigating complex or matrix organizations and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Experience including bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review
