Job Description

The Application Analyst/Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting our Product Manager with ongoing projects, software developments and improvements, and coordination of tasks with multiple internal teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work directly with Product Manager on low to mid-level projects, identification of software features, improvements, and bugs reported by customers, and QA-related tasks
  • Work with Development Manager to prioritize developer work and set expectations with Operations/Support project managers and clients.
  • Work with Operation/Support teams to understand client requests and identify and troubleshoot software issues/bugs 
  • Work with QA to define test plans and assist, as needed 
  • Maintain issue tracking and follow issue tracking policies and guidelines
  • Provide proactive status updates to Management and Operations teams, as needed
  • Provide internal training for new versions/changes of software to fellow teams/departments 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Prioritize tasks with guidance from Product Manager
  • Maintain version documentation, including release notes and user guides 
  • Schedule and attend cross functional project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, sending out relevant updates, etc.

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise effective decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization
  •  Exceptional communication skills: written, oral, and presentation
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare data & workflow (desired)
  • 3-5 years of healthcare background (preferred)

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required 
  • 3-5 years of experience in related field
  • Experience with SDLC processes strongly preferred 
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

This is a full-time position for our HQ located in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work may be available.
